If you have a computer, you’ve probably noticed how the young folks are using this thing called “Skype" – like the ubiquitous Google, people are even making into a verb and making requests to “skype” one another. Have you ever used it? With someone other than your mom? Were you somewhat put off by it for some inexplicable reason? Were you utterly amazed at the idea of being able to see your loved ones from far away, like in the sci-fi movies, but once you tried it it got really old, really fast?
You’re not alone.
For a long time, I used to skype (there’s that verb again) – with people and during the “conversation” I seemed to have forgotten EVERY IMPORTANT THING I WANTED TO SAY. I would close the box feeling slightly bewildered. I somehow lost sight of the real purpose of the call.
WHY!?
Well turns out that when you skype, there is a little box where you can see yourself!!
What starts out like this…
Turns into this:
It’s not a conversation with the other person! It’s a conversation with your egotistical self!
So next time you Skype with (GR!) or video chat with somebody, try turning the darn mirror off. It might be difficult! But chances are your hair will look the same at the end of a conversation as it did at the beginning.
Or you might not like skype because the people you talk to are boring. I cannot help you there.

Hahaha, Love This!! Actually the reason I do not skype is because there is a very important lack of of camera for my computer :-P
