One month of internal medicine
Betsy did have a birthday though! And it was wonderful. Maybe I will let her post about that though!
Overall, things have been going well, and we have been having a great, although very busy, time!

A Christmas Post
It felt like our second Christmas this year…we already got TONS of stuff for our wedding! Sheesh crazy yes??
Oh, I forgot to post about our Thanksgiving in Indiana. Our batteries went dead and only got a few pictures. But as you can see, it was a pretty tasty feast.
So on to Christmas…first we went to California. Santa did pretty good this year…but you must also consider that there were like a billion people at our house…
Can’t wait to open PRESENTS!!!
A very cool “Illumintaed” version of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court!
Then we had a SECOND Christmas in Washington!
We went to Leavenworth, WA. A beautiful Bavarian village.
I just HAD to get a picture with these MAGICAL Thomas Kincade paintings! Aren’t they just spectacular?!
How I love Pike Place Market!
The most divine hot chocolate ever…Dilettante.
I don’t know how I avoided making a gingerbread house all my life…but I finally got to do it. Seeing the results, however, I think it’s probably good thing.
At the airport. We are sad to leave!
We don’t know how next Christmas can possibly beat this one! But we look forward to it! Merry Christmas!!

Mickey Mouse’s Magical Powers
Saturday, we got to see the Mickey Mouse use powers that I did not know even existed.
Mickey was at the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, a parade where Mickey Mouse uses his powers to light all the christmas lights on all the trees on the Magnificent Mile.
There were other visitors at the parade too!
And the back side of frosty the magical snowman:
And a man was smiling at Betsy:
Before the magical ceremony, we also went to Navy Pier. We went to the stain glass museum and then rode on the magical Ferris Wheel.
This is us before getting on the Ferris Wheel.
The next few pictures are as the Ferris Wheel went higher and higher:
Getting a little too high for me…
But the view was great.
We also got to walk around the city and go across the river of Chicago:
And I got to see my favorite painting:
It was a magical day!!!

Need a wig?
I just might be able to help you.
A huge thanks to Chelsey!
The end. Sorry for the narcissism folks.
