I am thankful for sunshine. I am longing for it always.
When I left to go to school in Utah, my friends asked me why I would go to any school outside of CA. They probably thought I was crazy. I didn't think going away to school was as crazy as a mission, which I eventually did. That was a real distance. That made me miss America. But now after living in Chicago and now Seattle, I am always happy to go back to the land of sunshine.
